The combination of vitamin D3, vitamin K2 and magnesium ensures that each individual substance has a stronger effect, so that the nutrients support each other optimally. If the need for these three substances is adequately covered, they guarantee:
Vitamin D3 is also known as sun vitamin as it is produced in the skin through exposure to sunlight. However, because the amount of sunlight we receive is too low, especially in winter supplementation with vitamin D3 as a dietary supplement recommended. In fact, every second person in our latitudes suffers from a vitamin D deficiency!
A lack of vitamin D3 promotes a number of serious diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, intestinal diseases, metabolic disorders, depression and more.
Vitamin D3 is not actually a real vitamin, but rather a hormone precursor. Only in the body is it converted into an important hormone that regulates the cells and numerous important processes. In addition, almost every cell in the body is dependent on an adequate supply of vitamin D.
The fact that vitamin D3 effectively strengthens the immune system as it helps the body to maintain its natural defense function is widely known. But the sun vitamin can do even more. It helps the body to absorb calcium from the intestine and thus also contributes to maintaining healthy bones & teeth teeth. However, for this to work properly vitamin K2 is also needed as a cofactor.
➤ Did you know that one in two people cannot properly replenish their vitamin D3 stores?
Vitamin K2 is one of the most important players in vitamin D3. Although the hormone precursor ensures that calcium is transported from food into the blood, it is dependent on the active support of vitamin K2. This is because this vitamin organizes a series of transport proteins and thus takes responsibility for ensuring that calcium is properly utilized and gets exactly where it needs to go - namely into the bones and teeth.
If too little vitamin K2 is available, the calcium may remain in the blood and build up as plaque on the artery walls. plaque on the artery walls and leads to clogged arteries. In addition, bones and teeth fall by the wayside as they do not get enough calcium - the unpleasant result: they become brittle and the risk of osteoporosis increases. risk of osteoporosis increases increases enormously. This can be successfully prevented with vitamin K2, as the substance ensures the stability of bones and teeth and keeps our blood vessels clean and clear.
Please note that it is very important to take vitamin K2 at the same time as high doses of vitamin D3, especially if you already have a K2 deficiency. For the best effect, you should also take the correct forms of the vitamins - i.e. Vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 MK7 all-trans. This ensures that the body can optimally absorb and utilize the vitamins.
Many people suffer from a magnesium deficiency, which is caused either by an insufficient intake or a high loss of magnesium. However, magnesium deficiency can also have other causes, such as stress, intestinal disorders, diabetes, hyperthyroidism or the intake of diuretic medication or antibiotics.
However, magnesium plays an essential role in the conversion of vitamin D3 into its hormonal form and for its transport capabilities. If we have too little magnesium in our body, the conversion of vitamin D3 is limited, which leads to a vitamin D deficiency deficiency.
In a 2018 review published in The Journal of the American Osteopathic Association shows a direct link between the metabolism of vitamin D and the mineral magnesium .
Researchers of the American Osteopathic Association have also discovered that although vitamin D is stored in the body without sufficient amounts of magnesium, it remains inactive as it cannot be metabolized. The American scientists assume that up to 50% of people in the USA are affected by this problem without realizing it.
➤A combined intake of vitamin D3, vitamin K2 and magnesium guarantees the full development of a perfect effect.
This means that taking vitamin D3 - no matter in what quantities - will not do us much good as long as we lack magnesium. An existing vitamin D deficiency will then even persist. The effect of vitamin D is therefore directly linked to a good magnesium supply!
➤ If magnesium is missing, a vitamin D deficiency cannot be remedied!
Vitamin D3 and K2 are generally considered to be very well tolerated and safe. If the prescribed daily dose is adhered to, no side effects have been reported to date. However, an overdose can deprive the body of important nutrients and thus have serious consequences for health.
Slight side effects may occur when taking magnesium:
It is also important to adhere to the prescribed dosage in order to avoid an overdose and its consequences.
People with kidney dysfunction should not take the substances without consulting a doctor or alternative practitioner!
