More and more people are suffering from anxiety. The number has risen sharply in recent months in particular due to the global pandemic. According to the WHO, anxiety is one of the most frequently diagnosed mental illnesses in Europe alongside depression.

Fear as a recurring companion

Those affected describe this condition as one that is particularly characterized by restlessness and excessive worry. The most common symptoms include palpitations, sweating, tension and exhaustion.

Antidepressants are usually prescribed to alleviate anxiety disorders, but these often bring little relief and all the more side effects such as addiction. This is precisely why more and more anxiety patients are interested in alternative forms of therapy that are non-addictive, effective and well tolerated.

One of these alternative forms of therapy is CBD oil.

CBD - the natural anxiety reliever

Anxiety is now one of the most common reasons for using CBD. Initial research results on the anxiety-relieving ability of CBD are very promising. Those affected report very positive experiences and strong improvements in their symptoms.

Further effects of CBD:

  • soothing
  • sleep-promoting
  • pain-relieving
  • anti-inflammatory

A study on CBD and anxiety

For some time now, there have been numerous scientific publications providing preclinical and clinical evidence for the efficacy of CBD in neuropsychiatric disorders such as anxiety. Research documents the calming effect of CBD on the central nervous system.

In a large retrospective case series at a psychiatric clinic in 2019, CBD was investigated in connection with anxiety and sleep problems. After just 1 month, almost 80% of those affected reported reduced anxiety symptoms and better sleep.

Conclusion:

CBD is considered a promising herbal therapy option in the fight against anxiety and anxiety disorders. This is because conventional antidepressants often have strong side effects and are addictive - not so CBD.

Try CBD for yourself and experience its calming, anxiety-relieving effect!
