Do you possibly suffer from a parasite infestation?

Parasites such as ticks and fleas are generally known as parasites that can infest humans. But there are also parasites that can settle in the body, such as intestinal parasites like pinworms and tapeworms. Many people are not aware that the probability of being infested by parasites is much higher than they think: according to statistics, one in three people worldwide suffers from worm parasites! Worm parasites are a type of parasite that can infest the human body. There are around 150 species that can settle in the human organism.

➤ Around 1/3 of all people worldwide (most of them in developing countries) are affected by one or more worm parasites.

The parasite problem

What are parasites?

Parasites are living organisms that exist in or on a host organism on which they feed in order to survive and reproduce. Unlike in a symbiotic relationship, where both parties benefit, the parasite harms its host. In humans, parasites can impair the immune system, cause allergic reactions and cause damage to health through their toxic excretions. In humans, these include tapeworms, amoebae and Candida albicans. These parasites can cause a variety of problems, from digestive disorders to serious illnesses.

The immune system and parasites

Our immune system is a highly developed defense system against intruders such as viruses, bacteria and even parasites. It works tirelessly to recognize and eliminate them. However, some parasites have developed sophisticated mechanisms to deceive or evade the immune system. They can change themselves so that they are no longer perceived as a threat by the immune system and can thus spread unnoticed in the body.

How do you notice parasites in the body?

Although parasitology is an established field of science, the link between certain symptoms and a parasite infestation is often overlooked. Symptoms can be diverse and non-specific.

Possible symptoms of parasites in the body are:

  • Diarrhea
  • Abdominal cramps
  • Fatigue and slight fever
  • Allergic skin reactions
  • Increased number of granulocytes (a group of white blood cells) in the blood

Only around 1/3 of infected people experience clear symptoms. Many parasites can therefore remain in the body for years without being detected.

How is a parasite infestation diagnosed?

Diagnosing a parasite infestation can be difficult, as the symptoms are varied and not always clear. Moreover, many doctors do not immediately suspect a parasite infestation as the cause of the symptoms described, especially if it was not a trip to a tropical area. Standard diagnostic methods such as stool and blood samples are not always reliable, as parasites do not necessarily have to be present in the sample taken.

Prevention and therapy

If a parasite infestation is suspected, a medical examination and, if necessary, treatment with medication is essential. Natural parasite cures can also be helpful as a preventative measure or in cases of unspecific suspicion. These often use ingredients such as garlic, pumpkin seeds or certain herbs that are known to have an antiparasitic effect. The aim is to change the body's environment so that it becomes inhospitable to parasites. This supports the elimination of parasites and prevents new infestations.

It is also important to pay attention to hygiene and avoid risks such as eating raw meat or coming into contact with contaminated water. A healthy lifestyle and a strong immune system are the best protection against parasites and other pathogens.

How do we become infected with parasites?

Parasites mainly enter the human organism in the egg stage. There are various ways in which we can become infected:

  • Contaminated food such as raw meat or dairy products (e.g. giardia, toxoplasmosis)
  • Infected drinking water (e.g. amoebae)
  • Infected insects (e.g. malaria)
  • Infected pets (e.g. toxoplasmosis, fox tapeworm)
  • Certain places such as playgrounds (e.g. pinworms)
  • or through direct human physical contact

We are increasingly coming into contact with them, especially when traveling to tropical countries. It is not without reason that when traveling in certain countries, we are advised to only eat food that is highly heated (cooked or deep-fried) and to avoid salads.

If a weakened immune system and an unhealthy intestinal environment are added to this, parasites have an easy time of it.

Risk group: Pregnant women!

Pregnant women often receive a special warning about toxoplasmosis, an infectious disease caused by parasites. Humans only serve as intermediate hosts, the actual target being cats. The parasite is not normally harmful to humans, but it can be very dangerous for a fetus. Infection mainly occurs through contact with cat feces or through the consumption of raw meat. Pregnant women should avoid eating salami, tartare or raw ham, for example, and be careful when handling cats.

In contrast to other parasitic infections, the body produces antibodies to prevent re-infestation. However, people with a weakened immune system can fall ill again.

➤ Around half of German adults have already experienced a toxoplasmosis infection!

How can parasites damage the body?

  • Parasites rarely occur alone, but often bring along companions such as bad intestinal bacteria, borrelia, toxins or heavy metals that burden our body. Toxic metabolic products deprive us of important nutrients and lead to severe stomach problems.
  • Parasites live in our bodies as hosts. When they are in our intestines, they rob us of important nutrients, as they also need them to live. As a result, we receive fewer nutrients and deficiency symptoms can develop, even though we eat a balanced diet.
  • However, parasites do not only colonize the intestines. They can invade all parts of the body, even the brain. Experts believe that so-called neuroparasites such as Toxoplasma gondii can manipulate human biochemistry and access our central nervous system. From there, they control our thoughts, actions and emotions.
  • Parasites can also trigger serious infections and allergies. For example, a sudden food intolerance can occur, as the body is busy defending itself against the parasites and has less time for immunological processes.
  • Parasitic inflammatory processes increase the risk of autoimmune diseases and inflammation-related diseases such as Crohn's disease, arthritis, psoriasis, multiple sclerosis and even cancer.
  • Do you suffer from red and itchy eyes? This can also be a sign of a parasite infestation, as tiny parasites can also live in the eye.

➤ In Germany, infection with pinworms is the most common parasitosis! A common symptom: itchy anus at night.

The symptoms of a parasite infestation vary greatly depending on which area of the body is affected and which parasite it is. The symptoms usually appear suddenly and disappear just as quickly, only to reappear later.

Some parasites hardly affect the host. Others, such as the fox tapeworm, attack the liver, lungs and brain and cause considerable damage.

There is only one solution to remove parasites from the intestines, eyes, brain, heart, lungs or liver: a parasite cure!

To find out which treatment method is best for your parasite, be sure to seek advice from your naturopath or doctor.

Eliminate parasites with a parasite cure

Herbano has put together a package especially for parasite elimination: the anti-parasite package. This contains intestinal cleansing capsules and MSM capsules, which are important for successful elimination.

1. intestinal cleansing capsules to eliminate parasites from the intestine

To eliminate parasites from the intestines, a bowel cleansing with bowel cleansing capsules is recommended.

In the first step, the surface of the intestine is cleaned of the parasites' biofilm by means of intestinal cleansing so that they no longer have a place to hide. The natural intestinal environment is then restored and intestinal function is stimulated. To do this, three capsules are taken twice a day over a period of around two weeks with sufficient liquid.

2. detoxification and elimination of parasites with MSM

The second step is detoxification and elimination with MSM capsules.

Parasites bring toxins and heavy metals with them and produce toxic metabolic products. The body's own immune system is activated during detoxification. MSM capsules can be taken at the same time as the intestinal cleansing capsules to help rid the body of toxins and toxins.

Parasites are eliminated with the help of special procedures, usually worm remedies are prescribed. One natural solution is MSM, as it has an antiparasitic effect. MSM forms a natural blockade between the intestine and the parasite, preventing them from reattaching to the intestinal wall after cleansing with the intestinal cleansing capsules. The parasites are eliminated naturally and the intestine remains free of parasites.

3. stay parasite-free
As the body does not normally develop antibodies against parasites, there is always a risk of re-infection. In order to remain parasite-free, the immune system and intestinal flora must be strengthened in the long term. This can be achieved by taking probiotics.

How can you prevent a parasite infestation?

  • An alkaline diet strengthens the body and protects it from parasites, as these prefer poor intestinal flora. It is also important to prevent nutrient deficiencies.
The immune system can be strengthened by taking astaxanthin, probiotics or omega-3 fatty acids.
  • You should wash your hands thoroughly with soap after each visit to the toilet and keep your fingernails as short as possible.
  • Deworm your pets regularly and wash your hands after playing with them.
  • Wash fruit and vegetables thoroughly before eating them.
  • Avoid raw meat or fish as far as possible.
  • When traveling in tropical countries, you should make sure to heat your food well and only consume cooked or roasted meat.
  • Carry out a natural parasite cure regularly (especially after traveling).
