The long-awaited spring has finally arrived, but you still feel tired and dull all the time? Then perhaps you - like many others - are suffering from the widespread phenomenon of spring fatigue

How does spring fatigue feel?

Perhaps you are familiar with one or more of these symptoms yourself:

  • Constant tiredness
  • Fatigue
  • Lack of drive
  • Irritability
  • Depressed mood
  • Weather sensitivity

And not only that, the time change exacerbates the symptoms, as it also upsets the entire biorhythm. It can therefore take up to a month for the body to adapt to the new conditions.

Every second person suffers from spring fatigue!

Why are we so tired in spring when we should be fit and motivated?

There are two reasons for this:

  1. According to experts, spring fatigue is caused by the rising outside temperatures. This is because they cause the blood vessels to dilate and blood pressure to drop. As a result, we feel tired and sleepy.
  2. Another reason is that an imbalance of hormones occurs during the transition phase from winter to spring. This is because a lack of sunlight in winter ensures that less serotonin is produced and the sleep hormone melatonin remains active during the day. If the hours of sunlight become longer in spring and more serotonin is produced as a result, this initially leads to a conflict of hormones. The body needs time to adapt to the new conditions, which means that we often feel tired and listless during this transition phase.

➤ Order melatonin drops now!

So how can you banish spring fatigue?

Our tip no. 1: Magnesium - the miracle weapon against spring tiredness

The mineral is considered a true all-rounder. Magnesium controls muscle and nerve functions and helps to maintain electrolytes in the body. But that's not all: without magnesium, the body would not be able to generate energy. Unfortunately, most people consume too little of this important mineral. So make sure you get a good supply through your diet or targeted supplements and say "goodbye" to springtime tiredness.

Our tip no. 2: Hormone balance for more energy and a good mood

To counteract the transition phase from winter to spring and the hormones going crazy, you should create a balance between your sleep hormone and happiness hormone. After all, if you get enough and good sleep, you will be rested and fit the next day. So help your body to fall asleep in the evening with the body's own sleep hormone melatonin and go out in the sun during the day for more serotonin.

The amino acid 5-HTP is suitable for additionally and specifically increasing serotonin levels, as the body produces serotonin directly thanks to it.

➤  Many suffer from spring fatigue for up to a month!

Conclusion

The bad news? Unfortunately, spring fatigue affects many of us every year.

The good news? You can do something about it right away. Get out in the fresh air a lot, eat a balanced diet and balance your sleep and happiness hormones. Certain nutrients and adaptogens can be used as an additional boost to recharge your energy levels:

Put the phenomenon of spring fatigue in its place!
